| Ming GE General Manager of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Hong Kong Productivity Council Dr. Ge obtained his doctoral degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003. He joined Hong Kong Productivity Council since 2004. Before that he served USA NSF I/U Joint Centre, Centre for Intelligent Maintenance Systems, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Dr. Ge possesses more than 30 years’ solid experience in the R&D and applications of artificial intelligence, robotics, big data, intelligent manufacturing and automation. He undertakes the research and development projects of the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) and the Mainland Science and Technology Fund, as well as provide enterprises application R&D and solution development services using the technologies of intelligent systems, intelligent equipment, intelligent robots, digitalization, mathematics modeling and data analytic. He provides technical services on customized automation equipment, advanced manufacturing system design and intelligent product development to assist enterprises to establish a series of digital, automated and intelligent pilot projects. Many of these are the first of this kind in Hong Kong's industries to promote intelligent manufacturing, intelligent logistics, digitalization and advanced manufacturing. |
