| Dilrukshi Ranathunge Principal Scientific Officer and Head of the Science Communication and Outreach Division of National Science Foundation (NSF) Dr. PRMP Dilrukshi Ranathunge graduated from the University of Peradeniya in 1996 and obtained her Special Degree in the area of Zoological Sciences. She obtained Ph.D. in the area of Medical Entomology from the University of Peradeniya in 2004. She joined the NSF as Scientific Officer in 2002. She obtained training and education in the areas of Science, Technology and Innovation Policy from the Western Sydney University in Australia, Edinburgh University in UK and Monash University in Australia. She was the Head of the Science Policy Research Division of the NSF from 2014 to 2018. She was the Principal Coordinator of the National Research, Development and Innovation Survey conducted annually in the country during the period of 2004-2016 and Principal Investigator of many Policy Research conducted in the areas of S&T Policy in the country. |
